I hope you have been having an amazing and joyful holiday season, taking some moments to relax and celebrate yourself and your loved ones while battling the bitter cold front we had a few days ago (…17 degrees to 60 in a matter of days?! The weather’s been crazy!).

(Side Note: Can you believe that 2023 is only 3 days away?! Time is really flying by! Speeding!)

First Things First…

You may have noticed that this newsletter looks a little bit different from the last one. That’s because we recently switched to a new platform (🗣️ shoutout to Substack!) so that our newsletter feels as connected and interactive as possible.
Now, when you’re finished reading, you have the option to leave a comment to share your thoughts, suggestions, or to spark a discussion about what’s on your mind.

As we close out this year, I’d like to give a special thank you to everyone who has participated in a one-on-one community conversation this summer. So… what’s new?!

• This year, Talmbat has welcomed 34 new community members (who I like to refer to as the OG members) that live all across the globe.
  If it’s your first time getting our updates in your inbox, I’m sending you a warm welcome alongside digital hugs! 🤗

• We launched our community newsletter, That’s What I’m TALMBAT (which you are reading as we speak)!
  

• Our CCV (Chief Community Vanguard) participted in the University of Alabama’s Crimson Entrepreneurship Academy where we recieved the Minority Business Award.
  

• We’re officially established as a registered business (Talmbat, LLC)!

In 2023, we have some BIG goals!
I’m talking new partnerships, social strategies (like having a consistent posting schedule for the social medias and here in our newsletter), more community conversations, events, and (fingers crossed) an official platform launch!
